Review of Primous Fountain’s Symphony 6 by a Polish magazine is available here.

Below is the English translation of the text:

“It is the sixth of seven symphonies written by this American composer. The symphony was composed in 2013, and launched live in Moldova next year. Three-part composition starts sorrowfully and somberly. Music floats as sedately as an alpine stream. Sometimes sunny spells turn up, some other time a sudden burst of instruments build up tension. A dramatic atmosphere is incidental to the symphony and it would perfectly prove itself in a movie. As a matter of fact, it can be treated like a soundtrack to a non-existent motion picture. It’s curious that no director asked Primous Fountain for writing a film score. Has the composer ever thought of it or maybe has never been interested in such a kind of artistic activity? If so, the composer should be encouraged to step up, since he has a great aptitude for composing a strikingly cinematic works.”
